Mark Mitrovich served as a chef instructor at a local high school for 15 years. He taught culinary arts and hospitality management, covering fundamental cooking techniques and advanced entrepreneurial, marketing, and management strategies. His students operated a restaurant and participated in state and national culinary competitions. In 2023, Mark Mitrovich received recognition as the Ohio Restaurant Association’s Teacher of the Year.
Mark Mitrovich, a Bellbrook, Ohio resident, earned an AAS degree in culinary arts from Johnson and Wales University in Charleston, South Carolina. Years later, he earned a career education license from The Ohio State University in Columbus.
He began his professional journey shortly after completing his culinary education. Mark Mitrovich held management roles at well-known establishments such as Macaroni Grill, Kroger, and Chi-Chi’s, where Mark Mitrovich developed extensive expertise in hospitality, food service operations, and team leadership.
Transitioning into the financial sector, Mark Mitrovich joined Union Home Mortgage in Centerville, Ohio, as a loan originator. Here, he guided clients in selecting optimal loan products and managed a team of loan officers, overseeing training and human resource efforts to meet organizational goals and maintain high standards. He also focused on generating leads and fostering strong client relationships.
